Is it legal to get a CD from the library and rip it on to your |
So, can I get a CD from the library, put it on my computer, and then return the CD legally? Of course not. No. This is a violation of the US Copywrite law, not to mention the Music Piracy issue. You did not buy that CD so you do not have the right to put it on your computer/iPod/mp3 player. NO, plain and simple. You are depriving the people who made the CD of bussiness. By the way I don't think it's possible to do that. |
