Is this illegal?! HELP


I usually get my wallpapers from the internet
( desktop wallpaper )

like i wud save the picture into my computer and set it as wallpaper, im not using it for like..my own website or anything like that..just for my wallpaper!!

i wud get my wallpapers from places like Google and yahoo and such

is this illegal or legal?

yes it is legal

Either the guy above me is a real lawyer or just an idiot. It's not illegal to have a picture on as your wallpaper. But if you were a graphic designer and you take a copyright images and make modifications to it as your own image and sell it or anything. You can risk getting sued.

from a lawyer. it is legal as long as you dont try to take the picture and try to sell it or the object in the picture then its legal.
