Is it legal to put music from a checked out library CD into your iTunes library? |
I checked out a CD from the public library and I listened to it on my computer, then put two of the songs into my iTunes library. Is this illegal? I mean, I'm not paying for the songs, so I'm confused. Yes, it is illegal unless the copyright of the CD allows for making unlimited copies (highly unlikely). It's an illegal violation of copyright. It's also going to be against Library rules, if you read them. It shouldn't be but its definitely illegal Technically it is illegal, but who's gonna know? yes it's illegal but nobody would know if you kept ur mouth closed |
