Are 911 calls automatically entered by computer or by person?

With enhanced 911 the number is translated into (ANI) Automatic Number Identification so that 911 operators can send help without assistance of caller. I have a court case where it is being said a member of my household dialed 911 but they did not. We assume a neighbor.

So far a subpoena to AT&T shows no such call and the only information I have is a Incident Report which shows that someone typed this information in, which would be the 911 operator. It so happens this 911 center is in the same building as the police station.

Where can I get the actual ANI info. that came through to the computer, rather than a hand typed account of events in the incident report?

I am in Texas, and have been told recordings are only held for 30 days, although I have read that they are turned over to Office of Attorney General and held for 7 years.

NOTE: AT&T's records show calls (to family member) placed 30 min before supposed 911 call and others an hour or two after, but no 911 documented in their system during the alledged 911 call at all.

Your attorney should be able to subpoena this information. Obviously it was hand entered but there should also be a recording of the call showing where it originated from.
