Is it legal to distribute ripped media for free (as a gift in addition to an item sold in an online auction)? |
Is it legal if I were to distribute a collection of various DVD movies, which I ripped on to my computer, shrunk and then fit on a DVD, and then gave that as a free gift in addition to an item in online auction that I have listed? It's illegal. Ripping DVD I usually use E.M. Free DVD copy. because it lets me rip dvd easily, and it allows me rip DVD to other popular video formats such h264, Xvid, MOV, VOB, Mpeg, Mpeg4, Mpeg TS, AVI, WMV, and so on. |
