How can i go about getting property that belongs to me from a friend.?

I did a loan for a computer for a friend. she agreed to make the monthly payments. she has not paid in almost six months. I am now going to have to make the payments or have a suit filed against me. I do not want to pay for something i do not have but she refuses to answer my calls or emails about getting the computer back. what can i legally do to get it back? i have paperwork showing the serial number of the computer and proof that it is in my name.

You should do okay there. Make sure you have copies of all your records and any agreement you may have had, as well as copies of the emails you sent her.
