Do they track people who look at porn? |
My cousin is 15 and he looks at porn. I know its illegal and stuff and he doesn't care, but could he get arrested or something? Like, do they track who looks at porn sites, because I caught him on MY computer and I totally flipped out because I don't want to be arrested by the government... no, its not child porn... i dont think... I suppose it depends on who you mean by "they" Someone I know is a bit paranoid and believes the government already tracks all internet activity. If the government is already spying on everyone's computer activity then wouldn't there be less criminal activity? It was either an email I got or a news clip on a website, but there was something saying the government will start monitoring internet activity. Because of the tracking cookies there are sites that follow your internet activity. Otherwise how would you get all that spam? Technically it is illegal, but it really is no crime. It's no secret that the majority of teenagers; girls and guys alike, look at porn. It's completely natural. They won't track your site and single anyone out, unless it's child porn. The only reason they say that you have to be 18 is because parents would complain, I guess. If he had any contact with someone who is being or has been stalked or sent e-mails yes they will contact you as a possiable suspect If I were you I would block out all porn sites and erase all downloads this way it will be seen as a disapprovement they know everything done on every computer.......I wouldn't worry about it just secure your computer from it happening again....Sorry to say this but your cousin need some books on self control......Blessings Yahoo "They" don't keep track of who looks at porn sites. Porn is generally legal. Child porn is NOT legal, and allowing minors to view porn is NOT legal. This means that if anything, the government would be busting the website for allowing him to look. i hope the government has something better to do rather than look you up and charge you for such a silly crime. only child porn, but watch out many porn sites have viruses embedded to gain information from your computer like purchases done with credit cards and they can get your number and buy stuff without your knowledge It is not illegal to look at porn unless you arer under 18. The government has no way of knowing your age on a computer, unless you tell them. Call 1-88U -NDE-RAGE and report him. They track everything. his butt would be mud====== Dunno, but if it's child porn, YES. you are so paranoid |
