(CSI) computer crime investigation need help with job info.?

i am looking to become a computer crime investigator much like csi, it has always interested me, though i do not know what sort of degree is needed, or the salary, or hardly anything about it, just that it seems very interesting. please help me with all this info needed, and an average starting salary for this type of job. thank you so much in advance
