Is it legal to use info obtained from the computer ie. AIM conversations in court? Can it be used for adults ? |
Im safer was set up to monitor kids conversations but I was wondering if it can be used to gather info about an adult in the house. Can you use this type of internet info in court? Yes any evidence you have can be used in court...but dont evaluate aim conversations too seriously unless it is serious such as, daeth threats bulling, etc. Yes they are admissable...there are several foundational and hearsay hurdles that have to be overcome, but these types of transmissions are usually allowed into court |
