Does using personal assets for a LLC, such as a home computer, pierce the corporate veil?

Does using personal assets for a LLC, such as a home computer, pierce the corporate veil?

As long as you divide evenly in the books what is personal and what is business on your tax returns. Don't write off the computer if you use some of it for personal business, that would be illegal.

No.

It would need a lot more intermingling of personal and corporate assets than just using your personal computer for work to accomplish that.

Richard

No. As long as you keep separate accounts, you should be OK.
