What are the current privacy laws in regards to the Internet, computer communications and cell phones?

What are the current laws in place for these forms of cummunications?

How to make this clear...

Your privacy online is only as secure as you make it. No legal protection of your usage, and cell phone records are for sale, check it out for yourself.

If you ever paid attention, a search on a new computer will indicate that your information may be viewed by a third party ("cookies" and "IP adresses" identify who you are and where you have been online). E-mails get bounced from server to server and can be easily monitored and are not "protected" information.

Last but not least... No warrents required, law enforcement can sneek-n-peek our homes, and the FBI can search telephone, email, and financial records without a court order.

Privacy... HAH!

I`m reporting you!
You could actually be tooken as a 'liability' (within a signing statement)
I asked my mom why Germans did not protest...
( during ww2 )
And she told me 'FEAR'
many many years ago......
I asked my barber why he had that tatoo on his wrist.
( he didn`t want to talk about it )
I asked my brother why he died.
(Silence)

That's rather general.

Laws differ on regards to "where" your talking about. For example employers are allowed to track internet activties and such. But your personal computer at home cannot be searched without a warrent.

Rather than ask any of us to do what amounts to reams of research, why don't you go off to google and type in "privacy laws." You will get millions of sources. You can then search within results for the specific types of communications you are interested in.

None.
