Why was I fired by my ex employer just because I took a computer from the office. I was trying to recycle!? |
I thought employers were meant to be environmentally friendly these days. Should I complain to Green Peace? Unless you had permission to take the computer, you STOLE company property. That will get you fired almost anywhere. How do you know they don't already have a system to recycle used computers AFTER wiping confidential information? lol ggf Unfair dismissal! Surely, your boss was just recycling too.........recycling staff. Out with the old and in with the new! Recycling or not, judging by the fact you got sacked for it implies you took it without permission. That means it's theft no matter what your justification is. |
