Do you think the government is monitoring what we do on our computers? |
Since it is not paranoia anymore but actual fact that we are being spyed upon in the U.S.A., such as on the telephone and the computer, do you worry about what you say and do? Do you feel that this is a terrible invasion of privacy? Does it go on in other countries as well? they probably are, and we will find out about it way after the fact. What does it matter, I just love the Gov't They're monitoring certain things... they're probably not monitoring Yahoo answers if thats hwat your asking. I do feel that this is an invasion of privacy... and it only goes on in countries like China where they monitor absolutely everything the people do. No of course not, why should I worry if the government has total and complete access to every communication that I make and to every transaction i conduct. It is of no concern whatsoever that the can arrest me or anybody else to hold indefinitely and sentence without trial based only on suspicion. As the police have always said, you have nothing to fear if you are innocent! It's not just the government. It can be any computer-savvy person with bad intentions and time to kill. I don't know for sure but I imagine it's the same in other countries, if not more so. Sure they are. Right now they are trying to come up with the most popular answer to your question. I think the government does do that but I think they only look into activities of people they suspect of something...not your average person like me...it would be a waste of time & probably bore them silly. While I hate to see them have to do it, I understand that they need to take such drastic measures in todays society. The way I see it, if you are not doing anything illegal, don't worry about it...and also if them monitoring the phone & computer use of a suspected terrorist or illegal activity of someone and it helps aid in their capture...Good Luck to em! |
