If a girl went missing, if she was killed or was self inflicted, would the police look at her computer?

Would they look at who she last talked to via Myspace or whatever? Would they trace anyone she talked to?

It depends. Unless that make it a federal case, I doubt they will search her computer. But I'm not in anyway knowledgeable about Law Proceedings.
