Is it legal for the U.S. / U.K. Military to try to gain access to my computer?

I live in a boring dull town. So dull in fact that it made it into the book "Crap Towns U.K." However I have a Handy cam & sometimes I video UFO's from my back Garden. There are no military bases or any thing strategically important , no factories , nothing except a sewage works. Since I posted my videos of the ufos I have been getting firewall attempted entries from the US / UK / Kuwait Governments / Military . Why? I live in the UK.

Sorry but you are all wrong . I have a block list manager & these Organizations attempt to get in everyday many times a day & these are just a few of them. I just want to know if it is legal.

If you think laws stop ANY government, I believe you need to re-think that. Governments abide by laws AFTER they are CAUGHT breaking them.

First place, doesn't matter whether it's illegal or not. If they want to, they will. But if they do, you won't ever know it by getting firewall notices. They have ways around that.

i guess you strike people as having something interesting on your PC....But if it was the military they wouldn't try to remotely access your PC they would just go there and take it.....

Kuwait is not the porno capital of the world. you can't buy it there. So they have to hack it from the unsuspecting porn collector.

Just you leave open ports on a computer anywhere and not worry about anyone, governments notwithstanding, trying to gain access. It's happened to me. One of my boxes was hacked in '00 after the US spy plane was shot down in china... "F--- YOU, AMERICA" all over the web site.

So dont be surprised at all. Yes it might be illegal but also ***harder for you to prosecute*** than if you were hacking their systems instead! They know that, and so should you (at least now)
