What actions can be taken against a company like Dell when they misrepresent an item? |
I bought a computer from Dell, but the computer will not do what the technician on the phone told me it would do. I told the technician the computer was primarily for playing World of Warcraft and they built me a computer specifically for playing it. But the sound card does not support the game so my sound is glitchy. I am still under warranty, but Dell said they will not correct the problem. I have gone up the chain of command and gotten a resounding no. Why should I keep paying for a computer that is not what I asked for? But if I don't pay for it, it will ruin my credit. Do they have me trapped? What can I do? PLEASE help! Its not really worth the money to get a lawyer since its only $700.oo or so. I'm going to report them to the BBB, I don't think that is going to help me. Please advise. Does the game run? Try to get in a class action suit against them. If you've noticed a problem, others probably have too. |
