i cannot beleive that a judge gave only a 4year 8 month sentance to the most vile man that ran that child abuse website that men could log into to see a baby being raped. he could have gotten 10 years but because he pleaded guilty his sentance was reduced !! plead guilty-the man had 76,000 images of child porn on his computer, what did the judge think he was going to plead ??. this judge is almost as bad as the perv , he is a grade A prick. what is it going to take to ensure the safety of our children?? what do you think us the public can do to get government to change legislation and i dont mean a sarahs law. my kids are protected wether a perv lives in the next street or 2 miles away, it matters not.

Well, generally, an offender pleading guilty lower their sentance. Otherwise, what incentive would they have for pleading guilty?

But your right, if what you say is true, that person should not have been allowed to plead guilty.

That is horrible and if I were the judge this guy would have been thrown in jail and the key melted down. These things will keep on happening until the judicial system gets serious and starts handing out real punishments. I cannot believe something like this and it is a mock of justice. America needs to wake up.

The perv probably has contacts who are judges, that why he got a leaner sentence.

The only thing that will really make a difference is people speaking up. You could organize a group of like minded people to act. Mass letter writing, phone calls to Congressmen, Senators, and Govenors. Organize events to promote your cause and get the press involved. It is beyond time to make our elected leaders remember that they work for us and we will not stand for this type of behavior!!

every person would be allowed rights, people are very angry, I am glad I do not make this decsion the judge knows wot he knows and we respect his answer cause he is the judge, I am very angry about a perve, but what can you do, I do believe many people in jail have mental health and yet their needs do not always get met, I do not always think jail is the answer, many come out and reoffend, but wot I do know is the jails are full, I just dont always think jail is always the answer but I am sure many inmates will dislike this man.

The main duty of the legal system is to protect people, even when that person leaves prison, he would be monitored, and he will probably be unable to have a computer on the Internet. In his case 4 years 8 months might be severe enough to deter him from attempting further illegal activity.

There has to be a difference from people paying for the filth, and for those supplying it
There are as many risks in keeping people in jail longer than is affective, as there are letting them out too early.
