Is it legal to do this.... |
Ok I have read the federal law about owning a badge replica for collective purposes only. Ok I want to purchase a badge from someone in europe. It is a FBI badge along with a FBI ID abd wallet seen on X-Files with a picture of mulder and i want to purchase an NYPD Detective badge for collection of Law and Order SVU merchandise. If i order it would there be any problems shipping it to USA? Would i have problems with Customs? I know it is LEGAL to own them but its a sketchy situation... So whatcha think? Its legal to own them. Its illegal to present them as if you are an officer of whatever agency they are from Collector Badges I am sure you would have to pay taxes on it. People collect stuff but they still have to pay taxes on it. |
