I "owe" the collection agency and i'm under eighteen. Is that even legal for them to do that?

Seriously

Legal you can't enter into a contract if you are under 18 years old so technicaly they would loose a suit if they sued you and your debt depended on a contractual obligation. HOWEVER, if you lets say ought something online and checked that "im over 18" box then you can get into trouble for faud. Even if they loose the suit for the money, they still win cause they will slap your credit with a deliqiency that will hang around for the next 7 years

yea ya tard. They want their money that you haven't paid them. Good luck to your credit.

do what?......are you denying you owe them money?....next time tell the whole truth.

Well do you owe them money?

No. You are not able to enter into a contract until you are 18. If you signed a contract, it is not binding - a parent or guardian would have to sign.

The credit agency may be able to collect from your parent or guardian though, depending on what the debt is and how it was incurred.

no YOU seriously. You made the debt now pay it and don't you dare use the "I'm still a baby" excuse - you were grown enough to run yourself into debt, now be responsible

A minor, cannot enter into a contract except for necessities.
In most cases all you have to do is notify the collection agency, preferably in writing, that you are a minor and want them to stop harrasing you. By law they must back off.
Unless you owe the money for necessities such as food or clothing you have no obligation.
If they won't back off contact the Attorney General in your State.

Nawww... Don't pay'em. Let them file a lawsuit and get a judgement against you. Then every time you try to buy something on credit you'll get turned down. It's a great feeling.

you got off you lazy a$$ and pay your bills bc us responsible people have to pay more for crap bc people dont pay their bills and companys raise prices bc of people like you

you can tell them to kiss your a*ss. no it is not legal.

Yeah, Duh....
