Is it illegal for collection and attorney calls to be recoreded wothout them telling you its recording?

Most likely. Still, collection agencies can't do anything to you, even with a recording. Go read the fine print of those credit cards you went delinquint on. It basically reads; We will lend you this money. You have the option to pay it back or not. If you choose not to pay it back, we will report you to the credit bureau, and sell your debt to a collection agency. Since you will then owe that collection agency, they have the right to call you all day, every day. That is about the only right they do have. THE END.

The law in almost every state is "one party consent", that means only one party needs to know it is being recorded.

I do not know first hand, but I was told Florida does not recognize one party consent. You didn't say where you were from.
