Or. property is collateral on CA bail is collection required? |
Property was used as collateral. Both of the parties signing the Deed of Trust are deceased. Current owner came into title thru a life estate from one party and the other deeded 1/4 interest with survivorship so no probate upon their deaths. Is the bail bond co. required to try to collect? I would like to read the penal code.Deed of trust that was used did not specify a $ amount it referred to bond #s only. With suitable documentation, the person can collect the collateral from the court. Try the site below, make sure to change the location/state in which you reside. Hope this helps. |
