Does anyone know of any good child support collection companies? Any good experiences with any of them?

My childs father is about $5,000 late in child support and about $34,000 behind in back child support. I live in Florida and he lives in Texas. He quits his job everytime he is found by the state agency I use because, of course, he is notified of wage garnishments. Also does anyone know the consequences of not paying child support in Texas? What is the process?

In Texas, if your child's father does not pay child support, you may bring an enforcement action in court against him. In an enforcement action, along with some other remedies, you may ask the Court to order the child's father to go to jail or place the him on probation for failing to pay child support.

You may hire an attorney to enforce your case or call the Office of the Attorney General. Each option has its advantages and drawbacks.
