Can someone answer my legal question part 2?

Ok, my former college and its president has refused for over 2 years to send any college or university my transcript. Their reason is no because I have filed complaint against the college and the president with the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights which that same civil rights office came to the college and investigated. This same civil rights office found that the college and its president had retaliated against me and they had to sign a Resolution Agreement which they have failed to comply with. They do not have it set up on their site so I can purchase my transcript from this college. They have not only sent me email but a letter last year stating that they refused to send any college or university my transcript. I do not owe this college any money but they still owe me and refuse to pay me.

Have your lawyer send them a letter advising that they have 10 days to send the transcript or face a suit to compel them to send it.

Going to the papers might also work - this is a stupid, underhanded way for a college to behave and some publicity might smarten them up.

You need to hire an attorney to help you collect this debt. Your attorney will check to see what assets the college has and place liens on the assets that are most easily liquidated to pay you. Your attorney will then sue, petitioning the court to force a judicial sale of those assets. You get what is owed to you out of the sale, and the college will get anything left over (if there is anything left). Also, your attorney can compel them to release your transcript in the same lawsuit.

VERY easy question to answer.

Q: Can someone answer my legal question part 2?

A: Yes, those two attorneys you have.

BTW, if you say "but I want to represent myself on this case" when you cannot answer this question about what to do in this circumstance, you are telling everyone that you would rather represent yourself than win.

Please have one of your attorneys address this issue. Without their advice, you are VERY, VERY unlikely to be successful.
