How do i go about finding the right law firm to sue the city and state for civil rights violation in my home?

Me and my girlfriend have 2 of her boys 16@15 living in my home who have for 3 years been tearing up my house setting firesin it,stealing and so on.The laws have been to my house so many times and will not do anything. These boys are trying to kill her telling her they are going to and kill me. We have been trying to get help from chilprotection,mental health, juvinileathorities, law enforcement.and so on.Three weeks ago one tried to cut his mothers throat with a piece of broken glass,plus several other things we were told we could do nothing,three weeks laterhe tries again i put him on the ground. Then i got arrestedAnd the cops tell her staying in house with kids or she would go to jail.And i cannot go home to help her,. The cops are giving the kids another chance to kill her because they are minors.They are telling these kids their behavior is acceptable.As long as your a minor anything you do is OK. Thats what the law is telling them. louisiana law.

Why not take the boys to court yourselves and request they be taken away?

Or put them in boy homes or boarding school?

Or talk to a relative, perhaps they could handle the kids?

Wow, Louisiana is messed up. Law is saying that kids can try and kill people. Thats wack. I don't know about your question because I haven't sued anyone

Well, IF you had your civil rights violated.......you would locate preferably a civil rights attorney outside your judicial district to represent you so theres not a conflict of interest or an attorney worried about this case ruining his practice. Trying to hire an attorney inside your judicial district for a civil rights complaint against the police is like pulling teeth.

If you cant find a civil rights attorney, a personal injury lawyer may take your claim if he thinks there is anything to it..........and it would be very helpful if the attorney had criminal law experience to boot.
