Civil court question, water in gas tank.?

2 17 year old boys poured 6 gallons water in the gas tank of my car, while I was away and parked. He confessed guilty to it, and there was no restitution issued on the charges, so now I am going through civil court in attempts to get my money back, the crime happened January 31, 2008. The kid hasn't given me a lick of money for restitution, but has been charged with the crime. A mere 90 dollar charge for himself and a charge of 160 dollars for his friend. The damages and court fees come to 309 dollars now. What can I do legally to get the money back? I tried texting him about it, and he made a vague threat at me, so and he got a police officer call me up, telling me I have no right to talk/text to the boy during the civil court trials, etc. Well, what can I do to get the money back? Any suggestions?

Also the kid has been harrassing me, cussing me out in school, and I used to be friends with this kid till I decided he was an *** who took advantage of my money, and he stole my 60 dollar xbox 360 video game, bioshock, no proof to get it back but I'm 99.9% sure he pawned it off for 20 dollars at a game store.

Have you taken them to small claims court? If not do so, also include pain and suffering into the bill. With the police report as evidence you will win. Also if you have the text of the threat I would go to the police station and report it. Even without it would go down and file a complaint about the cop who came to your house.

you can also start criminal action against him for the harassment and can also claim more money for the offence of harassment

You TEXTED HIM to demand money?????????????//
You can't contact someone during a trial!! Wait and seeewhat the judge orders, but don;t be surprised if . because of your own actions, he throws itout of court.

Contact the DA in your town and let them know. As part of the punk's crime and punishment, you are entitled to restitution. It should come from the court. The judge should have ordered him to pay you for the damage. I don't know why the prosecutor didn't put that in the kid's charges. He probably still has to go to court so contact the prosecutor now and see it you can still get restitution. Don't contact the kid. If you have the threat he made to you, show the prosecutor. The punk needs a serious *** kicking.
