What do you think would be the result of inhibiting freedom to worship?

If the civil liberty of freedom to worship is removed, wouldn't there be extreme risk to other freedoms due to precedence? If preachers can be told what they can and cannot say, how can any of the other civil rights be preserved?

A famous quote possibly from Voltaire says," I disagree with what you say but I will defend to death your right to say it". In a democracy, should we continue to fight for our rights or not?

Freedom to worship or not to worship in the US is not a right that can be revoked...it is fundamental to our formation and fundamental to our citizenship. Freedom to worship/freedom of religion does not necessarily mean that preachers can say anything they so choose to say from the pulpit. Treason, sedition and such are against the Constitution and are prohibited as much as our rights are protected.

Ask those that live in communist or arab ruled countries about their non-freedom to worship how they wish, especially China, Indonesia or SaudiArabia.
On the other hand preaching hate anywhere, including a place of worship, has no place in a civilized society.
