Someone lied under oath in a civil trial in court, to their favor, not mine, how do I make it right? |
Looking for a legal remedy, not prank ideas for payback... Find proof and contact the county attorney with your proof. It will be up to them to prosecute depending on how much evidence you have. If your evidence is insufficient, they will not prosecute. Get proof, then go to the district attorney. Purgery is illegal. When it is proven, then you can go back to civil court with the new evidence. Also, the district attorney should be able to tell you what to do next. If you can prove that the person lied under oath, you could probably ask the local prosecuting attorney to file charges of perjury, but I wouldn't expect too much interest in trying the case unless there's lots of money involved. |
