Do you think the jena 6 should go to jail and what do you think of the boot camp guards verdict?

i think the jena 6 need to go to jail for what they did. as for the guards in florida they should go to jail also. george w should tell the AG to file federal civil rights case. now. I am a white guy that is a die hard repulican saying it is time for equal justice. and it is not happing right now.

I agree. What is right, is right. "Absolute power corrupts", you hear that all the time. In the case of the boot camp guards, that is true. Boot camps are probably one of the best deterrent programs for young offenders ever conceived, but there should be rigorous hire-in and thorough ongoing psychological testing, and safeguards in place to stop stuff like this from happening. In the case of the Jena 6, I don't care if some of the attackers were "good kids" before this. "This" was enough. They were like a pack of dogs after a cat....no thought, no compassion, no care of pain inflicted. If the races had been reversed....six white guys beating one black guy....they would call it a hate crime. Criminals all with gang mentality...Jena 6 and guards. Treat them all alike.

When someone beats another person to death, or near death, then they should spend some time in jail, no matter their reason for doing so.

You missed 95% of the story.

Jail time for the Jena 6, 5 against 1 is an assault and if it was 6 whites, the blacks would be demanding lots of jail time and be suing everyone.

Since the general public never gets all the facts, but only what the media sensationalizes and wants us to get, it is really not possible for us to render an intelligent and logical opinion. I would have to have all the facts first.
