SEx offender news?

i heard about all the sex offender living 2o00 feet away from school/parks balblah..but i have to write an essay on how this affects our civil rights... which right does it protect.. i know in the preamble.. it says they will protect our safety..but to be more specific..what do they affect?

I cannot imagine at 2000 feet that we are protected meaning families with children, there is no distance good enough when it comes to sex offenders in my community (I am not a prude I live in the slums the first place they think to put the offender), offenders do not go to prison long enough, second there is no rehabilitation process its the last priority on the government's spending list, (they rather buy bombs instead) finally, does a sex offender want to even leave jail in the first place, because chances are we don't want them here ....

It affects people living 2000 feet away from schools/parks. There are going to be certain pockets of homes that are 2000 away from schools/parks, and those areas will end up with a higher concentration of sex offenders. I don't know if this affects civil rights, but it is a consideration.

sweet jesus!! think about it... if you are accused of molesting a child you go to court. if you are found guilty you are sentenced to prison. after you get out, you will have to live 2k feet from schools etc...

what does that do to the notion of cruel and unusual punishment? if the judge has sentenced you, should we have the ability to continue to run your life without another trial?

here's a hint: your civil rights aren't in the preamble. there is no legal right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness... so where are they?
