Did you hear Senator Byrd,s speach ?

Knowing he was put in office by the KKK and was a member
and is the only Senator left who did not sign the civil rights
admendment. Should he have made that speach or should
someone else have made it?

Whatever his politics in the past, I think that Senator Byrd's speech does ring true about dog fighting being a problem. No human or animal should be made to shed blood for another's entertainment!!!
I only hope that his compassion comes in some part from mistakes made in the past. Times and opinions have changed since the civil rights movement.

dang good question.

just sitting here wondering what a 'speach' is...

He's still able to talk???

He can barely string a coherent sentence together in my opinion. And a former member of the Klan who committed acts of violence against other Americans is not the most credible person to speak out against someone committing violence against animals.

No, I don't listen to the doddering old sonofabitch.
