Why are Black Republicans excluded from Black Heritage Month?

George Bush nominated the First Black Man and the First Black woman both as Secretary of State but thats not a "Famous First"?

Nor is Clarrence Thomas mentioned. What about Great Thinker Thomas Sowell?

Ida B. Wells (1862 - 1931)

Ida B. Wells was a journalist, advocate for civil rights and an anti-lynching crusader. She was born in Springfield, Mississippi and helped to found the National Association of Colored Women in 1896 and the ***** Fellowship League. She worked with the white Republicans who started the National Association for the Advancement for Colored People on February 12, 1909.

She was forced off of a train for refusing to sit in the Jim Crow car designated for blacks and was awarded $500 by a circuit court. That decision was overruled by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 1887, a rejection that ultimately strengthened her resolve to devote her life to upholding justice. Because they are considered by many to be "traitors" to their own race. I am not an Obama fan at all, but the main reason why many African-American/blacks, do not like him, is because he has not felt how it is to be "them," straight from an article about Obama. Don't forget that if you go through history, it has always been the Republican, or the forerunners of the Republican party who's actually included many in. People forget or don't know that the KKK was formed by Democrats and not Republicans...

Good point. Liberals in this country don't think blacks are capable of seeing both sides and then voting liberal/democrat. So they hide half the story to preserve their votes.

I think people of every race need to take a hard look at both the conservatives and liberals in our government.
