Help! law paper due in 12 hours! i need a case to write about. criminal or civil, but an interesting one.? |
need the fact,s decision ans all. but i could look that up myself. right now i just need a cool case to write about. no oj or celebrity The Green River Killer up here in King County, Washington. HUGE serial killer case. Anne Rule wrote about it in a book called "Green River Running Red". Very interesting case, lots of info. They caught the guy- Gary Ridgeway. Do Bacce vs. Regents of U. California or something like that. It's really interesting. Miranda V. Arizona, probably one of the best cases I have ever read!! Brown Vs. Board of Ed. Write about the MANY cases the US Supreme Court has REFUSED to hear about concerning "reverse discrimination" I have a crazy one for you . I'll try to keep it short . Sent a show horse worth $10,000 (with reg papers)to friend in Penn.( verbal agreement only ) to sell. Any thing over $10,000 friend keeps . He will pay all board fees and ad to sell , plus ride and keep horse in show condition . This was in Dec ,2005 . No ad in Jan , Feb , March , April or May , not he calls and tells me horse is hurt and can't be ridden for 3 mons so I have a Vet bill and board of over $5000 . He has also moved the horse 5 times , I called barn where the horse is at and told them not to let friend move horse I will come and get him ,and called friend and told him leave horse there ..Barn called back next day and said friend told him that I change mind and to move horse to another barn . Told to get sheriff and go get horse and bring him back to his barn . The sheriff called and said they couldn't get horse without a warrant . I have found out that friend has done this before and the barn that my horse is at is his lawyers place . He is holding my horse hostage and demanding $5000 to get him back . Friend also called Insurance Co. to tell them he is agent for me and to contact him about the insurance money because horse is unrideable. What do you think ? Marbury v. Madison. Everyone talks about the one part of the holding where the US Supreme Court determined it had the right to declare laws unconstitutional (biggest power grab in history, prior to 2000). But nobody talks about the other major issues decided in that case, including the fact that discretionary decisions of the Executive branch are not subject to judicial review, as long as they conform to existing laws. Look at what else the Court said in that case, and surprise your teacher by being insightful. |
