In tennessee what are the laws regrading giving up custody of your child?

Im fixing to go flatten my 18 year prison sentence and want to give my rights up to my daughter so she can be happy and have a dad there 24/7.. she is only 8 months old and has been with the mother and the future father. I was in and out of jail on bond so i did'nt see her much.

This is a very touching subject but i want the best for her! We the parents and the future father have all sat down and come to agreement.

As long as you are all in agreement there will be no problem just some paper work for all of you to fill out. You will have to go in front of a judge, they will just make sure you are aware that you are terminating your rights as her father and that is that. I have to say I give you alot of credit for doing this for your daughter, it shows just how much you love her. Good luck in the future
