Business Trust?

Hello there,
I got a question for a somebody who knows the Massachussets law. Please do not respond to my question if you don't know the matter thanks

Is it always necessary to have a settlor for a Business Trust set up in Massachussets? Can the trustees set up the Trust without a settlor (or grantor or trustor)

No. A settlor is necessary for every trust. BUT a settlor can also be the trustee as long as there are beneficiaries for them to be accountable to.
