Is the US government run exclusively by slack-jawed, mouth breathing dolts?

How is the FCC able to levy a fine of $550,000 against CBS for showing a breast on prime time TV while a Federal judge can only issue a $200,000 fine (the maximum allowed under the clean water act) to Ogden Aviation Fueling Co for dumping 7,000 gallons of jet fuel into the neighboring watershed?

Which act was more harmful to society? Its obvious isn't it?

Very obvious. I'll take a look at a boobie almost any chance I can get. No thanks on that water though.

Everything is chaos and we're just going through the motions.

Yes and no. If that's what you call a bunch of crooks running an organized crime group that has infiltrated our government.

And if you think it's bad NOW, just wait until after the 2008 elections!!!

DOG, you do have a flair for the ability to " turn a phrase"
this is now going to become my new tag line to share with my wayward friends and relatives, all due credit will be given.

I just wish they were slack-jawed- the sly, forked tongue devils.

To your first question, YES!
Every level of government has some degree of corruption. The Federal judge should have made it clear that further fines could arise when the long-term damage to life becomes a reality.
By far the latter is the worst. It's as obvious as the nose on a face.
