Adoption Question/Help Please? |
Ok, I need to know if it is necessary to have a lawyer when adopting your niece and her mother is voluntarily giving her to me, if not, how do I proceed and where can I get free help with questions or filling out paperwork? Try the sites below, make sure to change the location/state in which you reside (tx). Hope this helps. You may also, consider Legal Protection for the family as well. I would suggest you do get an attorney, you might look into free/low cost legal aid clincs in your area to fully protect you and your neice you should hire a lawyer. i'm sure there are ways to get around it, but why take the chance? i know it's more of an expense, but to put your mind at ease it's money well spent. |
