How can I reverse an adoption??! HELP ME!!?

I had my son at 18, and had to let my parents adopt him for financial reasons. I lived with them of course and have been raising my son since birth. I am now 24 and my son is 5. Now that I am married, I want them to sign custody back to me, but they refuse. Any lawyers out there?? I have spoken with a few that say adoptions are hard to undo. Please help me and my son!!!!

Another reason for the official "adoption" was so that my son's father would have no parental rights and therefore no responsibility for child support. I am not wanting money from anyone. I just want my son back.

I can already tell you are not telling us what has transpired.

I assume you had trouble with the law and lost your son. Usually when the court sees the parents are not fit to raise their own child, the child's custody goes to the closest relatives, which is YOUR PARENTS. It is also apparent that they still don't see you as fit enough to raise the child.

Take responsibility for your own action and you will get your son back.

And why do I get this feeling that you want the child custody so you could receive the child support payment?

Which grandparents in the world are crazy enough to ADOPT grandchildren just because their child(single mother) has financial issues? What an absurd story is this?

looks like you got yourself in a major pickle. but if you love him enough and you have enough cash, your lawyer should be willing to go all the way and help you

good luck

I'm afraid I don't have any advice but I will say some extra prayers for you that you will be able to get your son back.

i would get a laywer
