Why was Obama against the born alive infant protection act? |
It stated that infants were human beings and those that survived late term abortions, were entitled to comfort care - not left on a tray to die alone. Obama advocates partial birth (late term abortion) whether the mother's life is in danger or not - (it's her choice). The bill declared that the infant was a human being and entitled to 'comfort care' such as pain medication. Obama voted no. He felt it would undermine a woman's right to abortion. You are mistating the position. When a medical condition necessitates termination, then he backs termination. The problem with bills like this is in the fine print - if you don't agree with some provisions, you have to vote against the whole thing. it was a controversial, but highly justifiable stance...but the undertones are largely ignored by the Democratic rank & file. I wish people who opposed abortion were concerned with all the people dying in Iraq on a daily basis. He likes the idea because he is a left wing liberal socialist Democrat. yes he is he voted to let them die because he sucks! He hate babies.Barack Hussein Obama is for Partial Birth Abortion,we must stop him. |
