Are the parental rights of a father restored if the father marries the mother after his rights have been term?

My child's father has signed over parental rights to my child but, later on in life, if the father and I decide to get together again and get married will his rights be restored or will we have to go through an adoption for this to take place?

His parental rights were signed over meaning he is no longer my childs father. Can they be restored if he and I get married.

Nope. He has to go adopt the child.

Where do you live? In the US, people can't just 'sign over' parental rights. Termination of parental rights has to be approved by a judge and normally they will not approve it unless it's for the purpose of adoption or the parent presents a danger to the child. Are you sure you're not talking about custody rights? If so, that's an entirely different thing.
