What is your opinion of "the nuclear family"- necessary, preferable or unnecessary?? |
personally i think it's better ideally if the parents are married (though no offence to single mothers/fathers i have a lot of respect for them cos it must be so hard and they can still do a great job, i just think it's ideal to have 2 parents) yet i totally support same sex adoptions provided the couples are in stable relationships..what are your feelings?? is the traditional "nuclear" family the only proper way in which to raise a child, is preferable in any way? Wooly, i respect your opinion but surely they are only "unaccepted" and "ridiculed" because of people like you..acceptence of homosexuals is growing, though you're entitled to your opinion Don't keep the nuclear weapons (WARNINGs) Keep all hazardous internation scales explosive away forn teh childrens. Keep out of house. That was extreme dangerous. That was unconsiderates. Taht was criminal, you see. I was raised in a traditional family and never had any real problems. No...i don't support same sex adoptions. I think if you have chosen a lifestyle that doesn't make it possible to procreate then that is what you have chosen. Children shouldn't be subjected to the bullying and ridicule that can be caused by such arrangements. I think single parents can do a fine job in bringing up children. POST...Thank you!! I thought for a minute because you like Homosexuality i couldn't have an opinion. The care and attention that is given to children is most important.A small "nuclear"family is a basic requirement,an extended caring family is a preferable option. However it is the quality of parenting and upbringing that is really important. Essential for the strength and stability of any society. Part of the bedrock of society. As it declines, so our society and country declines. I think that as long as children are brought up in a safe and loving environment, then the gender does not matter - there are many 'nuclear' families where the children are neglected/abused, so a general rule cannot apply. |
