Is there anything that can halt an adoption after the birthmother has terminated her parental rights?


If so, what could it be?

The birth father suddenly coming into the picture and saying "whoa, I didn't consent to this." And taking it to court of course. He would have to prove he is the child's father. Also, if the mother claims, and can prove, coercion; that can also stop it. From your previous question, that does not appear to be the case.

There's a hundred things that can go wrong, from allegations of fraud, to changing minds to appearance of the father, to ctriminal background checks of the adoptive parents, etc....
