Law and ethics homework help?

I need help with one question. it is what rights do familes of choice( those that are not related by marriage, adoption, blood) have in the state of texas in regards to patient confidentiality?

I am not sure I completely understand your question. I guess you are asking whether a non-traditional family will have the same rights to medical information as a traditional family. I am not aware of any laws in Texas granting such rights.
