More inclusive laws on hate crimes, marriage, employment discrimination, adoption, and military services remain issues in the homosexual communities. Shane Phelan argue that gay men and lesbians are not full citizens because 鈥渃itizens does not concern only what rights, offices, and duties are to accrue to citizens, but also how the polity decides who is eligible for them, that is, concerns the structures of acknowledgement that define the class of persons eligible for those rights, offices, and duties.

The president of the bank where is work is gay. He is educated, well-spoken, kind, and a great person to work for. I don't think his being gay has anything to do with it. I think what happens is when a gay or lesbian doesn't get the job or career they want, they blame being homosexual. When the person they should blame is themselves. The "Gay Pride" parades and flaming homosexuals have really done a disservice to the cause. The blame for failure should go right to the person that has not done the job, not the system.

I think the statement doesn't make sense, I can only assume you haven't copied it verbatim.

I have no idea what that means and it certainly doesn't make sense in the English language.

So, I can't answer in relation to what I think of the views being discussed because they aren't clear but I can answer in relation to whether I think it makes sense or not.
