Should a man have be a legal right to know if About the abortion or adoption of his potential child??

Plesae Expalne

abortion no. laws protect the privacy of women that have abortions. it's their body. adoption yes the paternal parent has every right to know that his child is being adopted. you may have the option to raise the child yourself if the mother doesn't want to have any part of it.

Sure. But I I think the mother will have the final say either way.

Yes. Here in the United States they have to sign papers giving up their rights for a child to be adopted out. I don't know about the abortion part of your question.

Yes, if he is required by law to pay child support then he should be able to prevent adoption of his child. He should also be required to know about an abortion. The only problem with the abortion issue is they have no way to prove your the father unless you admit it. If she is married and gets pregnant by whomever, the husband should be able to stop an abortion whether its his biological child or not since by law he could be required to pay for the child. The only way to do the abortion thing would be to require a license before having sex if your not married. Thats why we shouldnt be allowed to have sex before marriage.Otherwise you should go to a licensed prostitute in nevada.

Yes; it is his child too. The only exception is if he is abusive or dangerous.

That depends on the circumstances.

yes he should it is just as much his child as it his hers. that question always pops up who or where is the father.

It takes two to make a baby, the father should have a say in the matter. I know that some women feel that it is their body and it is their right, however the man should have the right tot ake custody of the child if the mother wants to give the baby up for adoption.

I think that a man should have the right to know,it might make them think a little better about themselves, And too they might actuly injoy raising the child.

Legally a man does not have to be notified if you have an abortion. But in order to give a child up for adoption both biological parents must consent to it, unless one is deceased. Morally though, I think he has a right to know. I mean, I can understand if your unable to raise a child, but if he's able to and wants to, don't you think you should give him that option?

Yes.

It takes two to tango, right? It's his child as much as it is hers. He has every right to know. If paternity can be proven, then he is in the equation, too.

You can't have it both ways - if the guy is expected to pay child support on children that women keep, then they have to be able to voice a thought or two on the ones they don't.

Depents on the situation. Age of the mother for example or your age. If you're a minor or the mother is than neither can support the child. Another situation would be if you dumped her when you found out she's pregnant. Then you should not complain a few month later when you hear about either. It's easy for a guy to say I don't believe in it, but also not willing to support the mother of child. A totally different situation would be your boyfriend-girlfriend and you have to go to Iran, then after you come back you find out your have a kid out there raised by "strange" people. Then I would think you should have a right to know.

yes, because it would be horrible to have to wear a condom every time you have sex. I mean, it's only two risk days out of twenty eight. why can't there be some good old guilt free rumpy-pumpy? if she gets pregnant, well they both made a mistake so both should have a say in the outcome.

the father should have a long discussion with the mother. no arguing, but talking about the pros and cons of each option. no matter what, the mother will have the final say though, because it is her body.

The man has a right to the abortion or adoption of his potential child because it is one of the rights given him under the Civil Code or Law. The consent of the man must be required in the said procedures.

Hell no. It's a womans right to do what she wants with her body. Just because he was a 2 second sperm donor doesn't mean he should be able to interfer in her life in any other way.

Currently Fathers have no enforceable legal rights, Should they..Of course!

Yes, but there is no such thing as a "potential child." Either the child exists, or he does not. Take a look at:

Adoption yes, abortion NO.

Hell yeah. If he helped to create the child he shouild have a say in whether he wants to keep the child. It may be her body but half of his DNA is inside of her.
