What type of court order would i need to release a birth certificate in an adoption case? |
this is important, i want to get a hold of my birth certificate that has my biological parents name on it and not my adoptive parents. anyone know how i can do this? i tried to contact the adoption agency over the phone and they said that even though i had my adopted parents OK that they still won't release any information to me you need your adopted parents OK and you then need to talk to the adoption agency and they will talk to the bio. parents and tell them you would like to meet them. if you just want to talk to them and not be a pest to them most of the time if they are good ppl and it is explained that you want to meet it works . t In a closed adoption, it is nearly impossible. The only times I've ever heard of this being done are life or death situations where the only hope for an organ transplant would involve locating a member of the adoptee's biological family. "If you know" any information in regards to your birth (actual date, city/state/country, hospital, parents' names, etc.) you should be able to track your Vital Records. |
