Need to get parental rights revoked?

im pregnant with my second child who is being adopted. The father barely even sees his first child, nor does he support her. We haven't been together since we conceived the second child. I decided that adoption would be best (because i'm young and im already both the mother and father for one) and he was all for it until he started dating someone else and I pretty much caught him. We've already promised the child to an amazing family, that lives close and the baby will know who we are. Now that i've caught him he says he's going to fight the adoption. Now he doesn't really want anything to do with his first child, never pays me a dime and finally im going to go to custody. I know we can get his rights revoked for this child im just not sure how to go about it. I live in PA by the way. So if anyone in PA knows that would be a big help

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but you are sorely mistaken if you think you can revoke a parents rights.

Whether you like it or not, the father has rights to see his kids, and he can fight the adoption and it sounds like he will. If he isn't supporting his first kid, then there are steps you can take to get support from him.

However, that doesn't change the fact that the father has rights. Of course your only giving us your version of the story, what would he have to say.

At this risk of getting a violation notice, perhaps you should be a bit more selective of who you let get you pregnant. It's sad that some unborn kid has to be a victim of you and your ex's crap.

I suggest you contact a lawyer, and the sooner the better

If he mounts a bit at preventing the adoption it will require money on his part.and any attorney will tell him his chances are slim to none.

Check with an abused women's group for help in your area. They will know the ropes in this case.
