Pro-choices: what do you have to say to this? |
what would you say if someone told you abortions should be illegal because if the parent is unfit she can simply give it up for adoption? I would say they were right because murder is murder even though they are just babies and if privacy is in the constitution like those women said it was well then i guess if you wanted to take someone into private and kill them then its constitutional and you should be able to do that. I would say it should ultimately be up to the woman to decide, if she's capable of making a decision. I don't think it would be soooo bad. Only thing is, pregnancy puts the woman through a great deal of stress. Her body will never be the same again. tell them to look up a fetus at 6weeks thst has been aborted they will be sick and write about the right to life that the child has and the fact it should not be achoice Simple- Sometimes, childbirth will kill the mother. My sister's placenta split when she was pregnant with my stillborn niece. She flatlined and after 10 blood transfusions, they got her back. My niece was dead. She had to get an abortion a few years later because if she went though the pregnancy, it would literally kill her. The same thing happpened to my eldest sister, too, and they had to perform an emergency hysterectomy on her after they delivered my premature niece. I feel it is the womans choice. sometimes its a life or death situation and abortion is the best way to go. Or what if a woman was raped? would she want to keep that kid to be reminded of it everyday? I wouldnt I am pro choice, and while I personally believe the decision of an unfit parent to give up their child for adopt is generally a constructive one, I can completely see the other side. This would be my argument: women are not baby-making machines, and if you become pregnant, you should not fell "obligated" to have the child for the "good" of society. A pro-choicer would argue that your body and your life are still your own, and if you do not want to have the child, it should be your choice - not society's at large. Best of luck with your essay. I would say that is a completely useless bit of information. Sadly I don't agree with abortions (unless extreme circumstances such as rape). If we were to out-law abortions people would take the abortions in there own hands causing harm to the adult or even killing them, having abortions regulated is better than johny down the street using a coat hanger. Out-lawing will only make the situation worse. It is people choice one what they want to do in there life, if they want to kill an unborn baby go ahead, meanwhile we are unable to do stem-cell research for the good people that need it. To justify a mistake in ignorance by killing a child is wrong, You can only fix a mistake by taking responsability for it, or you will always take the easy way out! And not learn a thing! It is the image that mankind has put on such a great power as to create a living person, and should be treated as such. To just allow the mistake to be swept under the carpet will only allow it to go on with no consiquences! I'm going to come out and say, that I'm a christtian and I think abortion is wrong under certain circumstances. There are alot of people who would like to have children and can't. Giving the baby up for adoption could make another persons dreams come true. Alot of parents are unfit and they know it unfortunately they continue to have them! I love kids and if I could afford them I would adopt a few! I am a Mother of 3 and nothing comes before them I love them so much! Abortion was never an option for me because I believe they are a gift from God! Because a parent is unfit doesn't call for abortion but the woman or man should have to get fixed! I hope I've helped you if even just a little. Good Luck on you essay and God Bless! Maybe your essay should include this topic as reasons why we should be taking better precautions to avoid unwanted pregnancies to begin with. If people practiced behaviors that didn't result in such things (birth control, condoms, abstinence, etc) abortions wouldn't be needed so often. This is common sense and has ben taught to each and everyone of us for decades. I would say that they are allowed to have their own opinions because opinions are like poop holes. Everyone has got one. |
