Signing off on parental rights in texas?

This girl is crazy, she poked holes in all the condoms to pin one of my friends with a baby. Even lied about being on birth control. And now, suprise! she's pregnant. This is all a huge mistake and my friend wants nothing to do with it. is there any ways he can sign off on his parental rights and have nothing to do with the baby or the mother? we live in houston, texas
They've talked about adoption and abortion but she refuses.

We didn't know she was insane until just recently. she even followed him to a friends house last night with out him knowing.

If she poked holes in the condoms, he should have known better than even to have sex with her. He's a fool and should carry out his resulting obligations.

I dont think he can do anything..hes the father even if he didnt want to be..maybe he should purchase his own condoms next time

If paternity is proved, he will most likely be paying child support. This is especially true if she is drawing any government payments or submits for childrens health programs. Only a court can permit the signing off of rights but it's unlikely to happen.

If he can PROVE your assertions, he MIGHT have a case. But the bottom line is, it's his child, it's his responsibility!
