What should I do to prove to the court that my child's father is a threat to my son?

My child's father became abusive towards me while I was pregnant because he never wanted our son. There was threats, physical fights, racial slurs, and a simple "Don't call me anymore." Also I was told to get a abortion or put my son up for adoption. By the way my child's father was once a highschool teacher, with a drug record, and girl's basketball coach. Come to find out he was doing more than just teaching and coaching. This is now a situation that's being investigated. I've actually been called to testify about the little weird things I would here and see involving students. Before this investigation started he started a riot at the school he taught at, and the school let him go. Later that night I go into labor, he just happened to be at my house crying about the riot and how I shouldn't take him to child support. He refused to sign the birth certificate.
Eventually he files for custody, but he has supervised visits. And he's still doing negative things to my son.Seems no 1 cares.

If youve got 40 bucks and some balls heres what you do you record him threatning you and you son with a tape recorder. take that to the judge and the judge will put a temporary restraining order on him untill they can resolve every thing,\
If hes abusive get out while you still can and then sue him for child support.
