How to find free legal assistance? |
for adoption. my friend's husband wants to adopt her child from a previous relationship. All parties are willing, however, the father is leaving town and wants this done in the next 2 weeks. once he moves, he wants no contact. neither parties have a lot of money right now for this. i know there are places that offer that kind of services pretty cheap if not for free, but how does someone even go about finding them?? any suggestions would be helpful. Try the National Legal Aid and Defender Assoc. Check your state for Pro se Legal help. Because of the increase in pro se cases of this nature, many states have recognized the need for Pro se legal help centers. Also you can go to your local courthouse for information. 1. Look in Search Engine or Phone Book |
